Le Saint Hubert
Shortly after meeting at La Cuisine Paris, Lise and Eric married and spent a year touring the treasures of France, uncovering the best regional producers (discover her profile in our Women of Provence article). This experience sparked the creation of Le Saint Hubert: a hotel restaurant that celebrates local and seasonal products, vibrant wines, and local art. Lise's Danish/American influence and Eric's divine cuisine in the heart of one of Lubéron’s most beautiful villages make Le Saint Hubert an unmissable Provencal destination where you will feel good.

Parenthèse
In July 2017, Paris native Catherine Tisserant (discover her profile in our Women of Provence article) opened Parenthèse, a concept store in her small Provencal village of Venasque. There, she showcases all the pieces she loves that are "simply elegant". Passionate about fashion, she is obsessed with finely crafted clothes, that make you look beautiful, that you wear endlessly, love and forget about, and then put back on. She adds her favorite books, jewelry, and ceramics, which she creates herself.
Secret concept store, by appointment only.

Le Petit Chose
Simple and exquisite, Le Petit Chose is a delicious Bistro open all day long. You can enjoy the daily lunch special, a coffee or ice cream for a gourmet break, an aperitif, or a panoramic dinner that feels like a romantic rendezvous. Its terrace overlooking the hills and sunsets, its store selling regional products and its cellar of vibrant wines make it one of the hidden treasures of Venasque and Provence.

Daniel Drouin's tapestry workshop
Daniel Drouin is a tapestry-maker and an exceptional artist based in La Tuilière
in Venasque, Vaucluse. Familiar with the Manufacture des Gobelins from an
early age, he's a real wool maestro. Trained in high-warp tapestry weaving,
he translates painted works into tapestry. Using wool, cotton, linen, and even
gold thread, his work can be defined as abstract compositions between colors,
form, and textures. They are now part of major collections in New York, Dallas,
San Francisco, Geneva, and Brussels.
The Ochre Trail
“A wonderful place. Avoid the crowds that summer brings by going during the
off-season. This trail is Provence at its best. It's impossible to get enough of
the orange and olive-green colors... When you hike here, you feel completely
out of time.”
Mas en scène
A charming guest house in the heart of Provence, Mas en Scène thrives
on the inspirations of its creator, Bea Mombaers. The Belgian decorator
settled a few years ago in Malaucène, a quaint village, and former paper
mill town at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Everything in this Provencal farmhouse, reinvented as a temple of good taste, exudes wellness and beauty. You'll love
the garden cuisine and the Provencal "art de vivre".

The Dentelles De Montmirail
“The sentier des Ocres is often called the French Colorado, but the Dentelles
de Montmirail is also worth the detour! It's a great way to discover the beauty
of Provence, from the plains of Avignon to Mont Ventoux. Plus they're surrounded
by vineyards, where you can stop for a local wine tasting.”
